The latest piece of business in a busy summer transfer window has seen Jayson Molumby join Millwall on a season-long loan from Brighton.
Molumby, without prompt or a bid from the Lions, told Brighton he saw his immediate future in SE16 due to his style of play.
The young Irishman is viewed as a very bright prospect and signed a new long term deal at the Amex before joining up with his teammates at Calmont Road for the first time.
Capable of playing as a defensive midfielder and getting forward, Molumby provides a different option to Millwall's other midfielders - and I'd expect him to start with Ben Thompson in the middle of the park against Preston.
Having won fourth best player at this year's Toulon Tournament, Molumby will join in high spirits - and look to learn from fellow Irish midfielder Shaun Williams, one of the senior players in the squad.
The 19 year old had scored 4 in 14 games for the Republic of Ireland's u19s, but has now moved up to a higher age group.
