Ben Marshall first signed for Millwall on loan from Wolves in January 2018, impressing as the Lions pushed towards the Sky Bet Championship play-offs.

No Lions player had more goal involvements from his arrival to the end of the season as he scored three goals - including the winner of Millwall's goal of the season award away at Barnsley - and five assists.

The Manchester-born winger also showcased his versatility during his initial spell in SE16, filling in at right back on the final day of the season as Neil Harris' side defeated Aston Villa 1-0, guaranteeing them an 8th-placed finish.

Following that, the club put in a record bid for the then-Wolves man but were beaten to his signing by Daniel Farke's Norwich. However, having made just four league appearances since joining the Canaries, Marshall was keen to go out on loan to play football and - this time - the Lions were able to beat the competition of Birmingham to capture the winger for his second spell at the club.

The former Manchester United youth player will want to win the fans over again and impress both Harris and parent club manager Daniel Farke alike as he begins a second spell in South London, remaining there until the end of the season.
