Magna Science Adventure Centre

Travelling up there with the kids for the Bank Holiday weekend?  Why not visit Magna Science Adventure Centre?  The centre is primarily aimed at children and families with principal exhibits divided into four pavilions: Earth, Air, Fire, and Water. There is also a large outdoor play area Sci-Tek and water play area called Aqua-Tek.  Visitors are often as impressed by the building itself as well as the attractions contained within it.

Clifton Park Museum

The museum collections include local social and industrial history, archaeology, natural sciences, coins and medals and fine and decorative arts. These include Roman remains from Templeborough, and Nelson, a stuffed Cape Lion. The museum is noted for its particularly fine collection of Rockingham Pottery, including one of only two specimens of porcelain 'Rhinoceros Vase', which were created as showcases of the work of the pottery. Clifton Park is also the home of the York and Lancaster Regimental Museum.
