FULL NAME: Jiri Skalak
SHIRT NUMBER: #26
BEEN AT MILLWALL SINCE: August 2nd, 2018
Jiri Skalak was Millwall's third summer signing, joining from Premier League side Brighton & Hove Albion. After missing out on Ben Marshall - who moved to Norwich - the Lions needed a left winger to compete with Irishman Aiden O'Brien.
Skalak looks to be an excellent crosser of the ball, hopefully providing good service to Lee Gregory and Steve Morison in attacking areas, hence Neil Harris having an interest in the wide man since last summer.
At the AMEX, he was very much a fans' favourite, though he has not played a competitive match since January in the FA Cup.
The Czech has quickly endeared himself to the Den faithful, saying in his first interview. “I watched them every game [after knowing of the Lions’ interest] and it was so nice to see them win,” he said. “It was 17 games without losing, it was unbelievable. I was thinking maybe if I was in this team I would play well.
