Full name: Thomas Lloyd King
Shirt number: #13
Been at Millwall since: August 30th, 2014
Tom King, formerly of Crystal Palace, is a very promising goalkeeper on Millwall’s books. At just 22, the Plymouth-born shot stopper has already made eleven league appearances for the club, as well as a further eight in other competitions. After loan spells at Welling, King replaced legend David Forde as second choice goalkeeper last season, and performed very well throughout spells where Jordan Archer was injured.
King has made fifty eight career appearances for four clubs, two of them being clubs where he spent time on loan. With clean sheets in almost a third of those games, King will look to win the number one shirt at Millwall in the next season or two as he tries to establish himself as a first choice goalkeeper. An excellent eye for a pass and ability to distribute the ball make him a superb option, whilst quick reflexes boost the confidence of any defence.
