Help fellow fan's
Playtex MoonWalk
So
here I go again for my second Playtex Moonwalk. A 26.2 mile power walk around
the streets of London and yes you've guessed it...In my bra.
Training is already ongoing and am currently getting used to walking again by pounding the treadmill at my local gym. By the end of this month I will be taking my training to the streets.
This year will be different, my mum will be joining me throughout all my training and has joined onboard to complete her 1st ever Moonwalk. We aim to get the walk done in under 7 hours.
We are walking on behalf of everyone who has lost or who has been touched by this cancer.
Please, please please dig deep and sponsor both my mum and myself. Believe me your money makes such a difference and without you, this could not be possible.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It's also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Walk The Walk Worldwide gets your money faster and, if you're a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
So please sponsor us now! - http://www.justgiving.com/massonsmission

The Playtex MoonWalk is organised by Walk the Walk and is the world's original power walking marathon which takes place in London at night! This is a unique event as not only do all the participants power walk a marathon, but they all wear decorated bras to raise awareness for breast cancer
Are you running the Marathon?
Many congratulations to Craig who managed to complete the Marathon in a commendable 4:57:01
I am 22 years old (23 after 11th March) and born and raised in Sutton in Surrey. All my life I've suffered with the terminal genetic disease called Cystic Fibrosis, but I have never allowed it to stop me from living my life to the fullest and getting along as normally as possible despite needing physio, taking all sorts of medication and enough tablets to make me rattle. The average number of tablets I normally take is 50 - 60 a day and that's excluding a nebuliser that helps protect me from chest infections.
I'm also an avid Millwall season ticket holder. I have been very lucky to be a part of and love my life and friends and family who mean the world to me.
I have been very lucky with my condition knowing that it could very easily have been me lying on a bed in hospital with all sorts of IVs and tubes coming out of me to help control the Cystic Fibrosis or even be so ill I'd have to be on a lung transplant list.
Thankfully this isn't the case and so with my good health I thirst to take on a challenge and help those less fortunate than me who urgently need a cure more than I do. So I am running the Flora London Marathon for the first time for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.
My father has run the Marathon on numerous occasions and I want to follow in his footsteps and show that I can rise to the challenge and not only raise awareness and money for Cystic Fibrosis, but also prove that someone with Cystic Fibrosis isn't always limited.
This is the biggest challenge of my life and I am looking forward to 13th April and being there at the finishing line with legs like dijon mustard, feet that feel like they're falling apart and a mind mentally battered!
You can sponsor me on my justgiving website which is on www.justgiving.com/craigjones_londonmarathon

Millwall Fit Club - Everyman appeal
Based on the hit Celebrity Fit Club ITV show, the Millwall Supporters Club, The Lions Trust and Dr Alison Leary of the Millwall matchday medical service have teamed up to persuade seven portly fans to shape up and lose weight.
Starting on November 24th, it'll follow the progress of a 'Slobby Seven' group of fans through to the end of the season as they aim to change their lifestyle for the better - and lose weight for charity.
The Slobby Seven are (left to right) Peter Townsend, Jim Webb, Guy Collings, Thomas Marshall, Steve Jones, Nick Hart and Peter Garston (not pictured).
We'll be monitoring their progress as the months go by here, in the matchday magazine, as well as online at www.justgiving.com/millwallfitclub where donations of support can be made in aid of the Everyman appeal.
Or maybe you'd like to shift a few pounds yourself? If you do, get in touch with The Lions Trust at lionstrust@gmail.com for further details.
The pounds are dripping away from the magnificent seven Millwall fans taking part in the Fit Club. The benefits of regular exercise and a balanced diet are becoming increasingly obvious to all - just check the following results taken at the third weigh-in prior to the Tranmere game on January 19th:
All weights lost date from the starting point on November 24th 2007.
If you are interested in making changes to your weight and lifestyle, then try and aim to eat no more that 2,000 (women) to 2,500 (men) calories per day. The Fit Club has found the best source of advice to be the Food Standards Authority's 'Eat Well -Be Well' website - and also check out the British Dietetic Association's website for specific fact sheets.
The Millwall Fit Club has been set up by the MSC, The Lions Trust and the Millwall matchday medical team - who are always available for advice near W14 in the West Lower. You can support the Fit Club by visiting www.justgiving.com/millwallfitclub - all money generated will go to the Everyman male cancer appeal.
Race for life
On Sunday 15th July 2007, Annie's Walkers joined thousands of women on Blackheath to help raise money for Cancer Research UK.
We didn't break any records (it took us about 1hr 5mins and we were very near the back!) but as you can see, we have managed to raise a lot of money for a cause that is very important to all of us.
The money is still coming in, but we would like to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who has sponsored us so generously. We were genuinely overwhelmed by the level of support we have had.
We have already beaten our target of £2,500 but check our webpage again for our final total.
Events like Race for Life are an important way in which Cancer Research UK is able to fund its life-saving work into preventing, diagnosing and treating cancer.
Many thanks again for your support,
Lou, Mash, Maggie, Lucy, Jane, Barbara and Annie
Fundraising target: £2,500.00
Our donations to date : £4,314.30
Marathon man
Millwall supporter Pete Chandler was taking a well deserved rest last night after completing the 145-mile Grand Union Canal Run in a new personal best of 36hrs 17mins.
The race, which started at 6am on Saturday morning, saw Pete run through the day and night in dreadful wet and windy conditions.
Yet incredibly, he chopped a massive 5hrs 35mins off his previous best time.
"I was a bit soggy at the end of the race and my feet are swollen," he said, "But I'm really pleased to have finished and also raised money for Neil's everyman Appeal. Some of the sponsorship money was kindly donated by Millwall supporters adding to a total of over £1,300 raised."
Pete, who was running in Chopper's first-team shirt, finished 12th overall from 78 starters, of whom around 33 actually finished the grueling run.
Congratulations to our very own Marathon Man from everyone at Millwall - and don't forget that Chopper will be taking part in the 'Keep Your Eye On The Ball' 5k run at Victoria Park this Sunday, 3rd June.
Full details can be found on www.keepyoureyeontheball.org.uk or by phone on 0800 731 9468.
The Twe12th Man
The old saying goes that "Charity starts at home" and for many the Den and fellow fans make up 2nd homes and families for most of us.
Those of you that keep yourselves up-to-date with all things Millwall will know that many fans push their bodies to the limit in the name of charity. There have been many memorable, impressive and poignant charity tasks undertaken by Millwall supporters over the years.
Season ticket holder Stuart is looking to take a charity event that little bit further. It's called "The Twe12th Man". 12 Events, over 12 months, for 12 different charities.
You can keep up-to-date with Stuart's challenge here
Please offer your support to Stuart, both verbally and financially if you can, at any of his events. The MSC is sure that you will agree this is a fantastic cause
