  • Negotiated with the club the re-establisment of a substantial benefit for MSC members, giving the fans the opportunity to buy matchday tickets at a lower price than last season by offering a £2 discount when buying tickets in advance of Matchday
  • Establishment of a written agreement between the MSC and MFC which will result in real future benefits to all supporters including improved customer service
  • MSC presence at both the Bermondsey Carnival and Lewisham people day, along with the Millwall Community Scheme to promote membership and recruit new members.
  • In partnership with the Lions Trust and the Junior Lions launched an advertising campaign for the "Lions Directory" - a business directory aimed at Millwall Fans
  • Participating in negotiations for the re-establishment of the Lions Radio Show on South FM (previously Time FM) 107.3FM
  • Consulted fans asking for views on the catering kiosk within the ground. The club then used this feedback during negotiations with the new kiosk operator

Past Achievements

  • Managed to get the FA and Football League to reverse their decision to remove the discretion of the six away fan ban clubs from deciding whether they would allow Millwall fans to attend
  • Contributed significantly in persuading Portsmouth and Leicester to allow Millwall fans to go to our respective fixtures with them
  • Continually fighting the "No Guest" rule, MSC managed to get the Wimbledon home match open to guests with other matches promised similar treatment in the future
  • Succeeded in getting the price of the membership dropped from £15 to £5 after learning it would be compulsory
  • Persuaded the ticket office to trial late opening (8pm) for the sale of Wimbledon tickets
  • Fostered a very good relationship with local community representatives. We attended meetings with representatives of local residents and Southwark Council and will continue to liaise with them regarding matters outside the ground
  • Made inroads into gaining a much better understanding with the Junior Lions committee and will continue to work together for the better of Millwall supporters in general
  • Organised the Fans Forum at the start of the season including the attendance Chief Superintendent Mike Humphreys
  • Set-up the MSC Response to use when the club receives unfair press and to date activated the system on two occasions
  • Obtained a full apology out of the Wimbledon FC after derogatory remarks were made on the website about Millwall and its supporters
  • Gained a page every match programme so we can keep members informed, particularly the ones who do not have access to the internet
  • Successfully appealed to the club after two fans were given banning orders from Millwall unfairly. These members have since met with the club and had their memberships reinstated.
  • We have obtained two new sponsors for this year's man of the match awards and have given our members the opportunity to select their man of the match then present the trophy at the following home match. A photo of this award being made to the player is then given to the MOM adjudicator
  • Organised for the MSC badges to be collected by members
  • The MSC football team have managed to make friends both on and off the pitch which has helped to give other clubs fans a better impression of Millwall supporters. Not only this but they have been very successful, we were losing semi-finalists in the TFG Plate competition at WorldNet 2002 in Leeds when 60 teams entered. This season has seen the MSC open up with a 100% record in the six games played to date
  • Have successfully assisted several foreign fans obtain memberships
  • Attended various Football Supporters Federation supporters clubs meetings around the country discussing issues that are affecting all supporters
  • Donated sweets and drinks on various occasions such as the Junior Lions Fun Day and to the Rotherham Supporters Club as a goodwill gesture to the first club to visit us in the league this season, the picture was in the South London Press
  • Following a query by a fan at a Fans' Forum, we arranged for substitutions made during games at The Den to be displayed on the big screen as well as being announced by the PA - which is sometimes missed.
